Mohegan Sun Arena | Uncasville, Connecticut
Having previously shared the stage in the 2008 production of the musical Chess, two singers of unparalleled talent, Josh Groban and Idina Menzel, will be teaming up once more as part of Groban's Bridges Tour, coming to Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday 10th November 2018!
"I can’t wait to get back on the road and play old and new songs for my fans," Groban said in his tour announcement. "It's the thing I most look forward to. Creating a show each tour that gives everyone there, including me, an experience they want to hold onto."
"We've done some great things together in the past but this will top them all," Menzel added. "And most importantly, can't wait to reunite with friends and fans everywhere!"
Josh Groban is a multi-platinum-selling, award-winning American singer, songwriter, actor and record producer. In 1999, Groban's big break came when he was asked to stand in for Andrea Bocelli to rehearse a duet with Celine Dion at a rehearsal or the Grammy Awards. Attracting the attention of the evening's host, actress and comedian Rosie O'Donnell, he was immediately booked to appear on O'Donnell's show the following week leading, in turn, to an appearance on the television program Ally McBeal. After singing to a major label in 2001, his eponymous debut came later that year, beginning a trend for Groban, with his first four studio album gaining multi-platinum certification from the RIAA. By 2007, Groban had been recognized as the number-one best selling artist in the United States, with over 22.3 million records sold nationally. Throughout his career, Groban has sold over 25 million records worldwide and released eight studio albums, including his most recent studio album, 2018's Bridges.
