Cheap Trick Live In Concert at Mohegan Sun Arena

The electrifying rock band, Cheap Trick, is the best you’ll ever see live. Their infectious energy, power, precision, musicianship, and full and rich sound are in a class of their own.

Cheap Trick bashed unashamedly into the rock landscape with their self-titled debut album in 1977. It was, however, their triple-platinum live album, “At Budokan”, and the top 10 single, “I Want You to Want Me”, that shot them right to the top, where they belong. With power pop bangers such as the expressive “Heaven Tonight”, the bluesy stomper “The Ballad of T.V. Violence (I’m Not the Only Boy)”, the rowdy “Boys & Girls & Rock & Roll”, “The Flame”, “Don’t Hit Me with Love”, and “Hello There”, leading crowds to fever pitch, they gained a dedicated cult following and a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2016. The Cheap Trick line-up comprises vocalist and rhythm guitarist Robin Zander, whose voice doesn’t seem to have aged a single day since 1977, with many citing his voice to be one of the best in rock history, topping gifted rockers such as Robert Plant, Roger Daltrey, Eddie Vedder, and Chris Cornell; lead guitarist Rick Nielson, whose swaggering riffs and hot solos justifies his parade of flashy and recognizable Hamer and classic Les Paul guitars; bassist Tom Peterson, whose explosive energy, tightly paced and ferocious basslines are head and shoulders above others; and drummer Daxx Nielsen, who are propelling drums and delivering bombastic solos like he is swinging hammers.
