DJ Cassidy brings his unique event Pass The Mic Live to the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT on Sunday, October 11th, 2026. For one night of music, three of the greatest voices in hip-hop from the last few decades, Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe and Ja Rule, will take to the stage to perform.
Cassidy is known for his innovative Pass The Mic series, a live format where legends get to trade the mic in perfect succession. For this night, in addition to spinning the tracks that made these 3 legends, live performance by the 3 will take place. There's Busta Rhymes who will be performing scorching hot live versions of his biggest hits to date, Fat Joe bringing the high energy of the biggest & dopest in the Bronx's own legendary artist, and Ja Rule delivering a special live set of his biggest hits from his early 2000s heyday.
Ticket Prices for the night start at $110. The event will take place at the legendary venue of Mohegan Sun Arena.

Legendary Hip-Hop Night - Live on Stage - Oct 11th. DJ Cassidy's acclaimed Pass The Mic Live, an innovative and interactive live show featuring a roster of iconic hip-hop artists, comes to Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, October 11th, 2026. Legendary Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe and Ja Rule will perform some of the biggest hits from their incredible careers and engage in some great banter with each other as well as the crowd in this very special one-off live event. It will be a night to relive the very best of hip-hop's Golden Era with some of the genre's greatest and most influential figures.
Busta Rhymes is known for his crazy delivery in songs like "Woo Hah!! Got You All in Check" and "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See" to name a few. He recently dropped "Blockbusta" and has shown that he is still a dominant force in the hip-hop world. He is known for collaborating with many artists in his songs and has been nominated for 12 Grammy Awards. He won the BET Hip Hop Award for Best Live Performer in 2007.
In addition to performing hit songs from his extensive repertoire of tracks by Fat Joe and his collaborations with other hip hop artists, songs like "Lean Back," "What's Luv?" (ft. Ashanti), "All The Way Up," and more, the renowned artist is continuing to release new music as he remains relevant to today's fans of the genre. Founding Terror Squad Entertainment, the label which went on to bring to the mainstream the careers of a number of top artists, Fat Joe has been awarded with numerous platinum-selling records to date, cementing his place in hip-hop culture.
In addition to Pass The Mic Live, performing and singing legendary hits of his own, Ja Rule will perform some of his greatest hits including "Always On Time" featuring Ashanti, "It's I'Z, I'Z (Livin' It Up)" featuring Mary J. Blige, "I'm Real" featuring J Lo, and many more. Ja Rule, rapper, singer and actor from Queens, New York toured in support of his albums The R.U.L.E. and Pain Is Love which both sold millions of records world wide. The rapper also had a career in Hollywood playing roles in movies and TV shows. He was nominated for a number of Grammy Awards and won an American Music Award, among many others.
