From its inception in the early 80s, Phish has earned a reputation to be one of the best jam bands in the world. This could be easily given to a rising band in the name of marketing. However, for the Vermont native band, these words rang true. Their signature brand of music, which is characterized by unpredictable setlists, musical diversity, improvisation, and eclectic tunes, made them stand out among many bands. As the New York Post cited, every Phish's "live show is a brand new experience complete with spectacular guitar riffs, trippy stage design and the occasional improvised vacuum solo." On top of the talent they have, it's their unpredictability that makes them unique, which causes every fan to look forward to every concert. After all, there is no Phish concert that has exactly the same setlist. Talk about unpredictability, right?

This alone and the fact that the Trey Anastacio-led band has a lot of surprises in their concert make them a sought-after act for every fan. in fact, it is a known fact that some Phishheads (as what their fans fondly call themselves) follow the band's tour to see guitarist Trey Anastasio, drummer Jon Fishman, bassist Mike Gordon and keyboardist Page McConnell improvised their own songs. Phish typically extends its four-minute song into a twenty-minute improvisation featuring a series of guitar solos, showcasing their delight in improvisation. Also, in between songs, they get the audience involved with their shenanigans. Truly, they are an amazing bunch of dudes that can brighten the mood of any audience.

This year, Phish is back again on the touring circuit. Beginning July 19, Trey Anastacio and the rest of his band will kick off their summer tour with a three-night stand in Mansfield, Massachusetts. They will then travel to several cities for mostly multiple-night stops. They will perform at Uncasville, Connecticut's Mohegan Sun Arena, for a two-night concert on July 23 and 24. If you are a big fan of the band, this is your chance to see them live. With songs like "The Divided Sky," "Heavy Things," "Bathtub Gin," and "Tweezer," among countless others, the band is sure to keep the heat of summer. On the first night, you can still get tickets to see them at the Greek Theatre Berkeley. Make haste before supplies fade. Get your concert tickets today for an unforgettable evening! Tickets for their second night at the Mohegan Sun Arena are still available. Get your concert tickets today for an unforgettable evening!
